Catalytic converter stolen

Hi everyone,

I generally park my 1995 Toyota 4Runner out on Village Center Drive, and last week, someone stole the catalytic converter from it while it was parked out there (sorry to my neighbors by the way - I discovered it at 6am Saturday morning while trying to make an early morning flight!). I've filed a police report, so SJPD knows about it. The converters are stolen for their platinum content, and the 4Runners in particular are targeted because of the ease of removal (they have a high ground clearance).

Wow, I had no idea people were stealing cats. Perhaps I have a false sense of security. I feel like we are very safe in this area and I haven't heard of too many thefts. Thanks for bringing it up.
