Carpet wash in common area
I thought our carpet needs to be washed twice a year in common area, but what happen this year ? November or Oct. should be the second time right ?

It should have been. We approved the carpet cleaning a couple of months ago but the vendor said they couldn't do it until later November. That came and went obviously. Peachtree is following up to see what the hold up is.
We also received a complaint about the current vendors quality at the board meeting tonight. Personally I thought they did a good job. Assuming they still do the job, let's keep a close eye on their performance. If we get multiple complaints they we won't award the job to them in the Spring.

it seems like they only came one time in 2009 , so what's the time frame for 2010 ?

Any word on when the common hallways will be cleaned? Our hallway is disgraceful.

As long as the weather is permitting, we are ready to do them asap.
Rainy weather is bad got the drying of the carpets and will lead to
them smelling.

The board approved carpet cleaning in October of last year. However, the carpet cleaning never got done in time before the weather. Now we have a couple of issues.
We're concerned with what transpired with the window washing. The board was told that all the windows in the complex were cleaned, and upon submission of the invoice and Peachtree's confirmation we paid the bill. Since then we've had numerous residents tell us that their windows were never washed and ATD now says that some windows didn't get washed after all. That's a problem.
The second issue is that with the weather and more rain likely and the fact that we will be painting and replacing the carpets this year we are questioning whether we want to spend the money. This isn't cheap and saving the funds won't hurt.
At this point, carpet cleaning is on hold.
