Tree Removal Follow-up Meeting with the Developer

Irvine has made arrangements to save some of the trees targeted for removal, but may not be able to save all. They are going to host another community meeting to give us an update and to hear ideas for saving some of the remaining trees. We saved one huge redwood tree, let us see if we can save the other 4 trees. By showing up, it made Irvine realize we are serious about saving our trees on River Oaks Parkway.

I you want to participate, the meeting will be Tuesday night Dec 11th at 7 pm in the Gamewerks room adjacent to the Crescent Villages leasing office by Crescent Village Circle.

Irvine said they have spray painted markings next door to show where the new road will be going. This is the road that is leading to the removal of a couple trees, including one of the big redwoods. If you are going to the tree meeting with the developer tomorrow night, you might want to check the site before the meeting. I'm meeting with Irvine at 5:30 tomorrow to take a look.
