speeding in the complex
There is a chronic speeder in my courtyard! Several of my neighbors have voiced complaints to me and I to them. This neighbor (both the husband and the wife) are chronic offenders and have almost run over me and my dog several times! They feel the need to rush from corner to corner at breakneck speeds with little concern for whomever is around the corner. They also have children who play in the courtyard. I can only imagine if another neighbor scared their children as badly as they have scared me!
Can/will the board address this problem with the neighbor or do I need to do it again personally?

Re: speeding in the complex
Give me the building and unit number. We can send a letter at the very least. I'll need to check with Peachtree on the rules of what the board can do in terms of actions. If it was my neighbor I would talk to them, hopefully they are reasonable people.
Also knowing the cars, color and license plate would help.

Re: speeding in the complex
A letter has been drafted and sent.
Apparently, the process is as follows. The HOA needs 3 separate complaints, each resulting in a letter being sent. At that point we can request a hearing that the resident or homeowner must show up to a board meeting. Only then can we fine them.
So if you see the couple speeding again please let us know. It's not a quick process but ultimately we will be able to fine them.

Speeding
I also live in 440 and observed few times personally the same neighbors speeding in our courtyard in a reckless way. The last time was last Tursday 5/29 around 7 AM or so. It seems the letter from HOA hasn't had any noticable improvement yet.
