Mail held at the post office on Junction

Hello,

I am not quite sure if this is for all the mail boxes at Villagio, but I know at least for 470, the mails all get held at the post office on Junction and this happened since last Thursday. If you have not received any mails (even junk mails!) for a couple days, you may want to go there to check especially for this tax season.

And when we asked when we will get the normal delivery service back, the answer is when it's fixed. Not quite sure who's in charge of fixing though. I doubt USPS will do anything to "fix" so wonder if our BOD has any action on this issue?

Fix what?

Is there something wrong with the mailbox?

Staff at the post office said somebody tried to break into the mail boxes so they start holding all the mails. From the look outside, I didn't see any damage on the mail boxes at 470. I thought maybe someone from our complex ask post office hold the mails since there's a posting here earlier mentioning mail stolen and mail boxes breakin at different building.

I'll send Peachtree an email to see if they know anything about it and whether we need to repair anything.

I've not received any mails for at least 3 days.

When you checked for the past 3 days was there something wrong with the mailbox?

I have some information into what is going on but it's best that I do not post it on this forum. If you are interested please PM me.

I can say that there is no action on our end. It's in the post offices hands as to when they start delivering the mail again and until then residents will need to go to the post office to pick it up.

We got the mails delivered today so I guess something got fixed.

Tom, what does "PM" mean, if I want to know the reason? And thanks for checking.
