Faucet water mucky?

I wonder if other owners are experiencing this? The water seems a bit mucky lately ... I think this started a week ago. This is when you turn on tap and it looks whitish; takes a while to settle. This has happen in the past, I think it was a few months ago. The problem went away several weeks later.

Is this something to worry about? eg. something San Jose Water is doing or water line is screwed up? Just curious. This is in the 410 Milan Dr condos/townhouses... but since we all get our water from the same place, I would imagine that this is affecting the entire complex?

I've noticed it in one particular sink in my bathroom. The faucet has also experienced a reduction pressure. It's half of what it was a few weeks ago. I haven't tinkered with it but the valves are fully open so I'm not really sure what is causing the pressure drop. My other faucets seems fine and the water seems clearer also.Strange....

The murky H2O is air in the water line. Seems to show itself when the weather outside is warm. I especially notice this during the summer!
After a few times you let the water run, it should clear itself. Just about a minute or two. Please do not waste too much water!

As for the murky look to the water, the posting was correct, its air bubbles. Every once in awhile the water districts do maintenance at their facilities or pump stations and it creates additional air bubbles which give it the appearence of murky water and tend to last for several days. No cause for alarm, and usually they announce the maintenance work over the news, so people don't freak out.

As for the low preassure. If its sporatic low pressure, I don't have any suggestions off hand. However if it is constant low pressure and only at just the one faucet you might want to disassemble the end of the faucet spout and clean the screen. Over the years build up will accumulate at the screen and reduce the water flow. I had the same problem with my kitchen faucet and was about to replace it, when I decided to tinker around and found this to be the problem and it was like having a new faucet.

I ended up replacing the faucet (for a minor face lift) and the water pressure is normal again. I think you are right, it got clogged over time.

I've has this problem for almost half year. I though it was problem with my water heater.
