cockroach

We have been in our unit for 10+ years; honestly, this is the first year we found cockroaches appear in front of my garage, and by the sidewalk. my family and I don't like roaches at all, is this something our HOA can do for us or should we hire pest control for my garage cleaned before cockroaches active in my garage?

There used to be a person who came out and sprayed for ants, and I think cockroaches. It used to be, with the other management group, that you would get a number and a person would come out and spray. I don't know how this management group would handle this, if they handle this at all.

You need to call Compass and ask them what to do. It seems like it would be in the best interest of everyone to have this taken care of by the HOA because cockroach infestations can get out of hand.

I found cockroach mostly in late afternoon and after dark; we are locate at 420; close to 425. so, if your unit is nearby, you may want to watch out your garage..

Definitely call Compass. We used to be able to call the pest control company, but I learned Compass has to initiate the call now. They only will spray on the outside. We've seen 1 or 2 around our garage this year and have put out fresh traps in the garage and haven't seen any since. If we all stay on top of it, we'll be fine.

Please let me know what Compass says about spraying. I would like to know if they are going to spray the whole complex or wait until the next sighting. I'll be on the look out if it's the later.

The Association does do exterior pest control spraying and Bugbusters has been asked to focus on the entire exterior of your building on their next service.

You may need to treat, or hire a pest control company to treat, your garage and the interior of your unit.
