Suspicious people digging for letters in dumpster
Early this morning (7/16 around 3:00 a.m.) I was awakened by car noise and when I looked out from the window I saw a silver Honda 2-door Accord parked at the dead end outside Building 470 on Navaro Way. 2 young men at their 20's (one wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and the other in a white colored shirt) jumped out of the car and and started diving into the big dumpster. I was watching at my window for the whole time and it looked like they were only interested in letter type of material. They even took the time to scan through the trash that they selected at the back of the trunk. They left the Building 470 dumpster about 30 minutes later.
I immediately called the police non-emergency line and reported this suspicious activity and 2 police cars arrived in about 15 minutes and circled the complex (I don't know if they were able to find that vehicle and young men in the end).
I've taken couple pictures right after. As you see they have left a mess near the dumpster and even dropped a HealthNet Explanation of Benefits (EOB) letter on the ground (I've blacked out the name and address to protect the owner's privacy).
Everyone, please be EXTREMELY CAREFUL as to what to put in the blue recycle bins as well as the big dumpster. Bad people do dig into ALL dumpsterS looking for these letter-type stuff.

Thanks Stuggart for your post. All homeowners need to report suspicious activities to the police department and notify the property management company

I already sent an email to Michael Allen at Common Interest yesterday reporting the same problem. However I doubt they will be able to do anything regarding this issue.
