AT&T cell phone reception at Navaro Pl.
Anyone have experience with AT&T coverage at Navaro Place? I had AT&T almost
10 years ago and the reception was not good in my unit, but it was okay over by
River Oaks Parkway.
I am thinking of switching to AT&T again and I am wondering if the coverage has
improved at Navaro Pl.
Thanks in advance.

Re: AT&T cell phone reception at Navaro Pl.
I'm at 475 Milan and my coverage is borderline. Depending on where I am in my apartment I get anywhere from zero to 3 bars. If I step outside and walk around my building, my reception fluctuates from 0 to 4 bars. It's just been hit or miss. I've called Att on a couple of occasions and complained but no resolution.
AT&T LOVE AND HATE
I would NOT switch. I have AT&T for only one reason was for my iPhone. Now that Verizon is selling the iPhone, I will switch.
At one time, I did make a formal complaint to AT&T and the Public Utilities Commission. Nothing came of it. I ended up getting a MicroCell free from AT&T.
That helped.
Good Luck

AT&T? Ha! Just like everyone said... I get anywhere from 0 to 2 bars. Before 2007, the coverage used to be decent until Sept 2007, when AT&T nuked their relationship with T-Mobile (now they're buying them... how ironic) -- the reception went from fair to horrible. I called AT&T back then, got a hold of someone high up and described that some of the towers' "borrowed" lease was up.
If you must get AT&T, try and harass them for one of those signal boosters -- tell them that their reception is junk. They're called 3G MicroCell Signal Boosters: http://www.wireless.att.com/learn/why/3gmicrocell/
The way it works is ... your cell phone now locks on to that device and it acts as the cell tower for you when you're at home. I heard from co-workers that it works relatively well most of the time.
