Please install commercial grade smooth carpet for halls

The last meeting I was at they showed several short shag samples. This is not industrial grade smooth carpet suitable for high traffic hall stairs. Hopefully this type of carpet is not going to be purchased after all. Please respond bacon your final choices BEFORE they get installed.
As with the hall paint there was a big color mistake. The accent color is dark khaki greeen and should have been matching the tan color of our building. Even the painters said that was the accent color, but as anyone can see that is not what they used. They should be liable for using the wrong color I believe.

I was present in the last two meetings where the carpet was discussed and didn't see any other homeowners there, so I'm not sure what samples you saw.

We will be using commercial grade carpeting for the hallways.
