SPECAL MEETING needs to be called asap re: 475 Milan Garbage issue
A Board of Directors can and should call a SPECIAL MEETING (it is stated in every condo CC & R documents) when warranted to allow the homeowners to meet with them on a issue that is urgent and cannot wait for the next regular meeting.
Per Peachtree we not allowed to have the Board members contact info. and are being expected to wait for a once a month meeting.
PLEASE let the BOD know that we need some immediate communication from them vs. just ignoring this serious matter with no response to us other than the admin of this forum. That is not communication enough.
The CC & R's do certainly allow for a special meeting to be called and that is what is needed NOW to come up with a quick resolution. Helen should be included an invited along with those of us who have been trying in vain to get some action on this pile of junk in the common area. Board of Directors are supposed to be ACCESSIBLE by the
homeowners. All we are getting is fingers pointing from Peachtree to the Board and nothing from the Board in response. This is completely OUT OF COMPLIANCE of the Board of Directors duties and we could file suit for this against the Board members.
AGAIN an attorney is NOT required to charge a fine or likely to simply haul away the offending garbage. This is getting ridiculous.

The admin (me) is a board member.
As I mentioned in another thread neither peachtree nor any other board members monitor this forum. I set this up because I wanted a place where residents can express their concerns. No one else agreed to support this forum so please do not expect any other board members or peachtree to respond to any posts here except myself.
The board and peachtree have been exchanging emails in regards to this although not all board members have responded to every email. I'm the one pushing to make this happen.
The vendor believes they have found the source of the leak. We are prepared to approve the work as soon as a final bid is submitted.
On the issue of removing the items we are working with our attorney because we do not want to open ourselves up to any liability. It's always ease to say just move forward but I do not want to open myself up to any liability. We are doing it by the book. We will serve Helen with a notice and give her 24 hours. After that we move it ourselves.

Thank you so much for getting on this matter. There are still some other issues that need to be delt with but at least most of the garbage is out of the courtyard.
