Membership in the forum unlimited
Using this forum to discuss Villagio issues would be great if membership were limited to Villagio homeowners and/or residents, and if multiple memberships were not possible. But you don't have to use your real name or identify your unit or account number, and you can join as many times as you like - and thereby slant any poll results to your liking.
If we want to use this forum for any sort of decision-making, we need to step back a bit and validate the members of the forum before taking any action based on anything in here.
If people also have to use their real names, that would go a long way toward eliminating some of the nastiness that occurs now and then when there's a difference of opinion. Personally, I think there should be automatic sig lines with the person's name, building, and unit number - there's no need for anonymity on this forum, and we need to know who we're talking to.

Re: Membership in the forum unlimited
Thanks for sharing your opinion.
There are pro's and con's to such a strategy and I'm not inclined to change the rules at this point for several reasons.
1. I'm not interested devoting more time to this forum to monitor and enforce more rules.
2. Things have not been that bad and there's no evidence that people have been signing up multiple times just to try and vote numerous times on survey's
3. Latest survey uses the IP address to confirm whether user is eligible to take the test and doesn't allow multiple submissions.
4. While we use the survey's to gauge interest or capture concerns, we don't make decisions based solely on a survey off the web.
